Final Presentation of the Botanic Garden in Dresden

From the cooperation with Laura Gonzalez Campos here comes the final presentation of the project.

In the Großer Garten of the city of Dresden there is a Botanic garden in which we should design a pavilion in a Botanic garden for two different climate zones, that is why there are   two different showrooms. The access is from the little square in one side through a long corridor which ends in the central reception and exchange hall.

The natural perfection is surrounded by artificial imperfection. Pavilion of Bruno Taut, from here we got the ide of using the loxodromic lines in our project, naturally a little bit adapted.

Different sides of the building and a perspective of the warm climate showroom.

Perspective of the dessert showroom and ground plan of the building. We can see the ramp which surrounds the whole building and connects the both sides through a little gangway suspended in the central hall. We can also find different ways in the terraces in different heights made continued by stairs.
In the image we can see the rooms under the terraces which serve as (from left to right), bar, toilet, storage and maintenance room as well as sights of the gangway and the first view of the central hall. After we walk through the dark and massive corridors in the  reception we have a pretty dramatic view where we can appreciate the abstraction of a palm tree used as the cupboard of the checkroom and reception.  It is like the heart of the building. Each ellipsoid or egg is connected with the reception somehow like the circulatory system connects the heart with the lungs.

Finally here we have the cuts which show us the terraces in different leves and the dark massiv corridors who flow into the central hall.
